When a roof is past patching, we replace it once, properly, battens, sarking, flashings and sheet, installed as one system.

How It Works
Our process.
- 01
Inspection and scope
We walk the roof, check the battens and the timbers underneath, and document exactly what has to change before we quote anything.
- 02
Written quote
A line-item quote for materials and labour, with the material options and their trade-offs explained plainly.
- 03
Strip and install
The old roof comes off, any rotten batten or timber is replaced, sarking goes down, and the new roof goes on in sequence.
- 04
Final inspection
A walk-through with photos before the crew leaves, and the paperwork covering the whole roof.
FAQ
Questions, answered.
How long does a full re-roof take?
Most homes run 3 to 10 working days depending on roof size, pitch and material. You get a specific range in the written quote, not a generic one.
Should I go tile to Colorbond, or replace like for like?
Colorbond is lighter, faster to install and easier to walk for later maintenance. Tile holds heat differently and suits some streetscapes and covenants better. We will tell you which way we would go on your roof and why, including when the answer is stay with tile.
Do I need to be home during the work?
No. Most owners are not. We coordinate access, protect the garden and the driveway, and send photo updates as the job moves.
What happens if you find rotten timber once the old roof is off?
We stop, show you the damage, and quote the repair before going further, never a surprise on the final invoice.
Do I need council approval?
Usually not for a like-for-like re-roof. Heritage listings, character overlays and some estate covenants do restrict colour and profile, and we check that before quoting.
